Professional Day is The RI Society of Financial Service Professionals signature event and is the longest running event of its type in the country. It is designed to focus attention on the contribution financial professionals make to society by virtue of their commitment to the interests of their clients

This year we are proud to have Gina Raimondo, General Treasurer of the State of Rhode Island, as our keynote speaker. Mrs. Raimondo, is a RI native who has had an impressive career, she is a graduate of Harvard and Yale, a former venture capitalist with Point Judith Capital, and a board member of Crossroads Rhode Island and currently serving as the General Treasurer of the State of Rhode Island, where she has done what many have said was impossible; Tackled pension reform. Thanks to Treasurer Raimondo’s effort, the State has received favorable press from the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Time Magazine which stated:
